One of the main projects for 2012 was to introduce a Service Plan scheme across the group, taking the group from a starting point of less than 1,000 Service Plans on the database, to a total of 9,000 Service Plans by the end of year. This 800% increase across 6 dealerships has resulted in over £2.75million of secured future revenue over the next three to five years. Beginning in the second half of 2012 I also directed much of my focus on improving the aftersales side of the business as we looked to establish core foundations and processes across each aftersales department in the Peter Vardy. A huge improvement in data quality and data management over an eighteen month period also allowed for more focus on a precise customer contact strategy - an underlying factor to the overall success of any department and business.
